BRIDGE Certification

Cookies

BRIDGE uses cookies to keep you signed in and to make the portal work. BRIDGE does not use them for advertising or cross site marketing tracking.

What they are for

Cookies are small pieces of information a website saves in your browser. BRIDGE uses them for these functions.

  • Keeping you signed in. These maintain your session so you can access your account and learning activities. Blocking them can prevent sign in.
  • Making the site work. Remembering settings and keeping pages functioning as you move around them.
  • Taking payment. Set at checkout so a payment can be completed and protected against fraud.

The services involved

These services support different parts of BRIDGE. Which ones your browser connects to depends on the page or feature you use. Some use cookies; others receive technical information when their content loads.

Services used to deliver BRIDGE
ServiceWhy it is here
LearnWorldsThe platform that runs the site and the portal, including sign in.
Stripe and PayPalPayment and fraud protection through the provider offered at checkout.
ZoomRuns the live sessions. Joining through the portal is what records attendance.
TransloaditFile uploads inside the platform.
Google FontsServes the typefaces. It sets no cookie, but loading a font discloses your IP address to Google.
MailchimpHandles the optional Policy Alerts subscription after you submit the email form. Its signup page has its own privacy and cookie practices.

What is not used

BRIDGE does not add advertising networks, cross site marketing trackers, or social media pixels to the portal. Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X are ordinary links: they set nothing until you click them, and what happens after that is governed by those sites.

Your controls

Your browser can block or delete cookies, and its help pages explain how. Blocking the ones that keep you signed in will stop the portal from working.
